Bathroom Showroom in the Heart of Cheshire

Sensational Bathrooms has come to Congleton. Our showroom is now open at 5-7 Rood Hill, a few minutes’ walk north of the town centre, the second home of the family-run business behind the long-established Northwich showroom. It brings free 3D design, premium UK and European brands and a trusted network of recommended fitters right into CW12.

Congleton knows quality when it sees it. From the Victorian terraces around Hightown and the town centre, built when Beartown was a silk and textile town, to the 1930s semis along the main routes and the newer family estates out at West Heath and Lower Heath, the housing stock here spans two centuries of plumbing. That variety is exactly what our designers and recommended fitters deal with every week, and it is why a proper home measure beats guesswork every time.

What We Offer Cheshire Homeowners

  • Free bathroom design consultations at the Rood Hill showroom or in your own home.
  • 3D CAD visuals so you can see your finished bathroom before a single tile goes on.
  • Premium UK and European brands: Roca, Tissino, Sonas, House of Piccadilly, Calypso, HiB.
  • Full installation through recommended fitters covering plumbing, tiling, electrics and finishing.
  • Wet rooms, walk-in showers, en-suites and downstairs cloakrooms, designed around your space.
  • Supply-only if you already have a fitter you trust.
  • Flexible finance options to spread the cost of your project.
  • A companion tile range to carry one coherent look across the whole room.

Why Cheshire Homeowners Choose Us

We are a family business, not a national chain, and Congleton is a town that rewards that. Most people here have been local for years, and reputations travel by word of mouth from Buglawton to Mossley. The same family, designers and recommended fitters behind our Northwich showroom, the team trusted by the BBC DIY SOS Big Build for Children in Need and featured in Cheshire Life, now serve south-east Cheshire from Rood Hill.

Congleton has no shortage of small interior outfits, but very few places where you can walk around real displays, sit down with a designer and see your own bathroom in 3D before committing. That is the gap the showroom fills. And because our recommended fitters carry 30+ years of experience across every kind of Cheshire property, the quote you get reflects what your house actually needs, whether that is a straightforward refit in a modern West Heath semi or re-routing pipework in a period terrace off Canal Road.

We cover the whole catchment from here: Sandbach, Biddulph, Alsager and Holmes Chapel are all within a 15-minute drive, along with the villages between, from Astbury to Brereton.

Kitchens at Our Congleton Showroom

Congleton is also home to our kitchen studio, trading as Sensational Kitchens & Bathrooms. Premium British ranges from Omega, English Rose and Mackintosh, free 3D design with our kitchen designer Lynsay, and installation through the same recommended fitters. See the Congleton kitchen showroom page or call in at Rood Hill.

Finding Us on Rood Hill

The showroom sits at 5-7 Rood Hill, a few minutes’ walk north of the town centre, close to Congleton Park and the River Dane. From Sandbach it is around 6 miles via the A534, from Biddulph around 5 miles on the A527, from Alsager about 7 miles, and from Holmes Chapel around 6 miles on the A54. CW12 1LD takes your satnav straight to the door.

If getting to the showroom is awkward, we offer a free home measure and consultation across Congleton and the surrounding towns. For most projects the home visit is the smartest first step anyway: pipework, drainage and floor structure get checked before anything is quoted, so the price you see is the price that holds.
